What
payment methods do you accept?
What
is PayPal?
Payments to me can be made online through the free, secure, and insured payment site called PayPal.com with the following credit cards:
I've used this service and it's great. I've sent and received money through it for a few
years now. It's now the #1 payment service on eBay and in fact, eBay acquired PayPal in 2002. You can send from $0.01 to $2,000 to anyone as long as they have an email address. There is no
service charge to do it and they don't sell your name to telemarketers either. The payment money comes from your credit card, bank account, or personal check to them. The payee gets their
money from PayPal by check, direct deposit, or can be held in their PayPal account to pay someone else electronically. Every account is FDIC insured against unauthorized transactions up to $100,000.
Funds received and held in a PayPal account can be applied towards a (non-FDIC) PayPal Money Market Reserve Fund to earn a return on your PayPal balance.
What if my payment check
bounces?
There may be a delay in posting your listing until your check clears. But if I go ahead and post it right
away anyway, and then your check bounces, your listing will be deleted. There will be a reinstatement fee of $50 in addition to the listing price to get listed again. It is to be considered
a returned check and service charge. If there is any un-honored check hassle, like having to resubmit your check to my bank, then $50 will be deducted from your listing time. Thus, your
listing will end early in a pro-rated manner to the nearest month.
Will you let me know when you have received my payment?
Yes. I will email you to let you know that I have received your listing submission
request, your payment, and when your listing has been installed on the web site.
Will
you let me know when my listing has been installed on the web site?
Yes. I will email you to let you know that I have received your listing submission
request, your payment, and when your listing has been installed on the web site.
Can
I modify my listing information online with a login and password?
Not at this time. But hopefully that feature will be available in the future. Send me an
email and I will be happy to make any changes.
What
if I want my listing information modified?
Please make sure that you provide the necessary information at sign-up time. Listing
information can be changed at any time by sending me an email.
Where
will my listing be placed?
All listings will be added to the top of the list and migrate down as more listings are added
throughout the year. Renewed or upgraded listings go back up to the top of the list again. Listings will be added on a first come first serve basis.

Will
you sell my name or email address to spammers or anyone else at all?
KVRL does not sell, loan, rent,
or distribute email addresses or personal information. We hate spam and junk
mail as much as you do and will protect your information. But of course, your email address can still be obtained from your web site by spam robots that are always scanning the web looking
for email addresses. Because of that, we suggest you use a booking
form on your web site with your email address hidden.
What
if your prices go up or down in the future?
KVRL
has kept our rates the same since we first started the web site in
2000. At this time we have no plans to raise rates. However, KVRL reserves the right to raise or lower
rates without notice. If prices are raised in the future,
existing listings will NOT be charged extra. If prices are lowered in the future, refunds will
NOT be given for those who may have paid more.
Do
you do photography for vacation rental listings?
No.
But I can refer you to two excellent local photographers on the island
of Kaua.
